CHALLENGE
Our challenge was twofold. Firstly, we had to craft content that was not only engaging but also immediately practical for learners to implement with their Snowsports participants. This required a shift toward media-rich video demonstrations, offering quick and easy-to-follow examples that instructors could readily apply.
Secondly, we needed to ensure that the course was fully accessible for diverse learning needs. This meant going beyond the basics of closed captioning and providing comprehensive support for screen reader technology. The course had to cater to learners with varying abilities and requirements.
SOLUTION
To tackle these challenges, we harnessed the full spectrum of accessibility features offered by Articulate Storyline 360, creating an interactive eLearning course with closed captioning and screenreader capabilities. In parallel, we conducted rigorous pilot programs, engaging participants from diverse backgrounds to provide valuable feedback that shaped the instructional design.
Within this comprehensive solution, we unleashed the power of video demonstrations. These real-world demonstrations allowed learners to witness and effortlessly apply teaching techniques, enriching their understanding and skillset.
The result? A custom eLearning course, enriched with gamification, accessibility features, and engaging video demonstrations, equipping instructors with practical skills to enhance their snowsports participants' experience.
