Fern McCracken
Founder, Instructional Designer
Fern McCracken is the CEO and Principal ID Consultant of eLearnology Inc. She has over 20 years of experience in adult education as a master trainer for corporations and a college professor for career advancement diplomas and certificates.
Fern’s firm is a leader in Canada providing instructional design and curriculum development for national certification programs. She has a Bachelor of Science, Honors Degree in Health Sciences, a Coaching Diploma, and is a Certified eLearning Specialist. She has worked with several Olympic coaches over her career which has helped shape her approach to competency-based training that supports effective change in organizations.
Fern’s extensive background and expertise in training and management consulting have earned her awards and an impressive client list including the Canadian Mental Health Assoc., Coaching Association of Canada, HIGH FIVE National (PRO), Community Living, Canadian Adaptive Snowsports Association, George Brown College, Physical Health Educators of Canada, Basadur Applied Innovation, RONA, Humber College, City of Markham, City of Mississauga, to name a few.
Prior to opening her instructional design firm (eLearnology Inc.), Fern acquired over 10 years of experience designing and delivering post-secondary education and community programs at Humber and Seneca College. As a College Professor and Program Coordinator, Fern’s portfolio included the delivery of Diploma and Certificate programs, as well as over 150 non-credit, special interest lifestyle courses. This diverse portfolio has provided her with insights into the unique learning needs of individuals looking to advance their careers and enrich their life.
